Reggae Boyz striker Dujuan “Whisper” Richards will be playing League One football this season, following a season-long loan move from Chelsea U-23 to AFC Wimbledon.

The agreement was confirmed by Chelsea in a joint release with its academy on transfer deadline day Tuesday.

It will be the second consecutive loan move for the young striker, who’ll be looking for a more productive season following a less than ideal stint at Leicester City, where he struggled for minutes with the Foxes.

A spell with the League One team could create attention from Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso, as well as other potential clubs that may be in need of a talented forward.
