Coventry City FC Manager Frank Lampard will now have two Reggae Boyz in his ranks following the permanent transfer of Defender Ethan Pinnock from fellow League outfit Brentford FC on Monday.

The move, which has been among the noted domestic “transfer watch list” in the past week, is said to be a three-year agreement worth a reported £6 million (£5 million fee plus £1 million in add-ons), the BBC reports.

Commenting on his move, the Jamaican expressed excitement in this latest chapter with his new club. “I’m really excited to join Coventry City and continue my footballing journey with this great club,” he said, adding, “After 25 years, the club are back in the Premier League, and I know how much it must mean to everyone involved. I can’t wait to be part of it.”

Pinnock, 33, will now link up with fellow Reggae Boy, striker Ephron Mason-Clark, at the Lampard-conditioned team, which aims to make an impression on its return to the English top-flight for the first time in 25 years.
