The R&B icon, who was being honoured by the town with the Key to the City along with several proclamations and recognitions at the city, county, and state levels for her contributions over the years, attracted much fanfare. However, the acclaim became almost a secondary topic of discussion with many fans pointing out the noticeably thin physique of the “Full Moon” hitmaker with queries of concern.

While some joked, others had genuine curiosity and prayerful thoughts, cautioning fellow users to be mindful of trolling, referencing the treatment late iconic actor Chadwick Boswick received online for his appearance before his passing due to colon cancer, which he was battling privately.

Brandy has yet to publicly address concerns online as she continues to bask in the appreciation with her fans. The Key to the City is the latest accolade for Brandy this year after officially receiving her Hollywood Walk of Fame Star in March.
