The growing international reach of trap-Dancehall standout Skippa was further reaffirmed after being featured as Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B’s Caribbean Rising Star.

The highlight which forms part of the noted U.S. publication’s Power Players feature, see the Jamaican artiste share the progress of his musical journey from notable newcomer to being a staple name among top music contemporaries of the dancehall sub-genre.

The feature also broke news that the “Weh You Feel Like” hitmaker will be a performer at the Billboard R&B Hip-Hop Live event set for September 10.

The show, which will be hosted in Brooklyn, will see Skippa share stage with Rap Star Yung Miami, and R&B singer Lucky Daye, among others.
