The Reggae Boyz will be targeting a morale-boosting rebound in the CONCACAF Nations League when they tackle El Salvador in game three of the tournament at the Cuscatlan Stadium, El Salvador, on Friday.
The Boyz, who opened their home leg fixtures with a thrilling comeback 3-2 victory over Guatemala before being humbled to Honduras 1-0 in Kingston, would be expected to use that experience to help rebound in their first away fixture this international window.
The Boyz, who are currently fourth on three points, will be leaning on the eagerness of the new call-ups, such as Tajay Grant, Jamie Lyle, Ramone Howell and Kyle Ming, to help the team get back into a top contending position during this phase, following the reported withdrawal of key players in the first two games.
Jamaica should, however, be buoyed by their record against the Central Americans, having dominated the head-to-head with five wins and one loss in 13 previous meetings, with the remaining seven ending in draws.
Victory tonight could propel the Boyz to second on goal difference should other results go their way. Kick-off time is set for 9:00 pm local time.
