R&B legend Lauryn Hill and rap icon Busta Rhymes were among a star-studded set by Reggae sensation YG Marley during his Coachella debut performance on Sunday.
Marley, who was among the highly anticipated new acts at the mega festival, gave fans more than they bargained for when mother Lauryn Hill joined his set much to the delight of the crowd.
The patrons were further treated when rapper Wyclef Jean made an appearance almost like a mini-fugues reunion during what felt like a mystical moment at the festival.
Rapper Busta Rhymes added more energy to an already electrifying set when he ran out to perform a medley of his hits, making Marley’s set a memorable mix of Reggae, R&B and Rap.
Marley, who wowed the patrons with his smash “Praise Jah in the Moonlight” and his upcoming release “Revolution,” is set to return for week two of the festival next Sunday.
