As the popular social media platform TikTok faces a ban in the US, which could significantly impact monetised accounts of local content creators, entertainer extraordinaire Brush 1 highlights streaming platform Twitch as an attractive additional platform to earn.

Speaking with Sleek Jamaica, “Road Marshall,” also a travel content creator, noted that while Twitch has been one of the biggest revenue-generating social media platforms globally remains, a largely untapped territory in Jamaica.

“Twitch, I’m surprised more jamaicans are not on Twitch,” he shared, adding the immense following that the platform has.

He referred to the success of Kai Cenat and Adin Ross among others who recently visited the island for Carnival in Jamaica and how they made bank solely from the platform.

Brush 1 dispelled the misconception that the platform is mainly for gamers, citing a friend who is a DJ and makes money playing music on the platform for his fans.
