USA track star Sha’Carri Richardson has issued a public apology to partner and fellow sprinter Christian Coleman following her recent arrest in connection with a domestic dispute.

“My [Apologies} should be as loud as my action, honestly louder“, expressed Richardson via statement of remorse directed at Coleman.

The sprinter was reportedly taken into custody last Sunday at Seattle Airport
Following what seemed to be a physical dispute with Coleman as he walked through areas of the terminal.

Video footage released of the incident seemingly showed Richardson physically attacking Coleman— repeatedly shoving him as he attempted to walk away.

Speaking to the media following the incident, at US trials, Coleman noted that Richardson’s arrest may have been unnecessary, adding that everyone has moments of regret and called for grace during this situation.

The apology comes hours after the World Championships 100m gold medalist addressed the incident for the first time in a video post on Monday night, expressing accountability for her actions.
