Dancehall “Hot Shot” Shaggy is set for an epic performance with Rwandan star, Bruce Melodie after being confirmed for the popular tv show, Good Morning America to deliver their hit “When She’s Around.“
The performance, which is set for March 18, was announced on Monday.
The 2023 collaboration has been getting a solid reception, especially within the African continent, racking up over 5.4 YouTube streams since its October 27 premiere.
In addition to streaming success, the collaboration also earned Shaggy a nomination for “Best Cross-Continental Collaboration Single” at the upcoming East Africa Arts Entertainment (EAEA) Awards.
The Awards ceremony is set for Nairobi, Kenya, on March 10.
