Dancehall super producer ‘Skatta’ adds another plaque to his accolades after Kehlani’s R&B track “After Hours”, which samples his iconic “Coolie Dance Riddim”, officially went silver in the UK.
The certification, which was verified on Friday, confirms the sale equivalent of 200,000 units in the market.

“After Hours” was a lead single for Kehlani’s 2024 “While We Wait 2” album. It’s the latest award for the track, having already gone gold in the US for registering sales of at least 500,000 copies
“Coolie Dance Riddim”, originally released in 2003, remains one of the most recognisable and influential dancehall productions globally, having spawned several mega billboard hits in the early 2000s for both dancehall and hip-hop acts.
Among them, including Nina Sky’s “Move Yah Body”, which peaked at No. 4, and Pitbull’s breakout track -Culo and Elephant Man’s international banger “Jook Gal”
The production continues to be among the most sampled productions with several newer acts across the world using the sound as part of their content.
