Dancehall icon Sean Paul continues to prove his appeal remains at the highest level after bagging nominations at the Latin American Music Awards (LAMAs).
Dutty Paul earned nominations for the Best Cross-over Artiste and Cross-over Collaboration of the Year.
The Jamaican was among a star-studded cadre of eight nominees In the Best Cross-over Artiste category, including Drake and Maroon 5’s Adam Levin.
His Cross-over Collaboration of the Year nod came via his feature on FEID’s smash “Nina Bonita.”
Winners for the awards are set to be announced on April 25.
The Grammy winner has also won several international accolades over his career and has become a massive figure in the Latin music market, scoring hit collabs with some of that genre’s biggest names. Some of them include the multi-platinum-selling classics “Bailando“ with Enrique Iglesias and “Contra La Pared“ with J Balvin.
