Less than a week after the release of Usain Bolt and his manager Nugent ‘NJ’ Walker’s single, Living the Dream, dancehall superstar Popcaan has voiced his opinion on the track.
In an Instagram post today, Bolt, alongside girlfriend Kasi Bennett, are seen in the studio vibing to the track.
Popcaan, who is one of the genre’s most prolific artistes urged Bolt to instead invest in up-and-coming artistes with real musical talent.
“Wid all due respect legend, me feel like you fi just help up some youth wid real musical talent! Them deyya nuff,”
Popcaan said.
He added that he had no beef with NJ but that he believes that the platform should be given to artistes who are trying to get a break in the industry.
“Please just give some hungry youth wey actually have the talent tha platform deh.”
He ended by wishing Bolt a Happy New Year.
