In an update to the public Health and Wellness Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton said, following Monday’s earthquake 35 children were rushed to hospitals.
The children were taken to hospitals across the Southern Regional Health Authority (SERHA).

Dr. Tufton noted that 21 students who were suffering from anxiety, showed up at the Bustamante Hospital for Children and the Kingston Public Hospital.
To date, 10 have been treated and released.
A further 14 children showed up at the Spanish Town Hospital in St Catherine and they were also treated for episodes of anxiety and released.
