Rap star Nicki Minaj has added her voice to mounting criticism of Super Bowl organisers for snubbing Lil Wayne in favour of Kendrick Lamar to headline the upcoming halftime show slated for his home town of Louisiana.
Minaj shared her disdain for the decision via Twitter noting that it was done out of spite.

Cash Money Records boss Birdman, who was also tagged in the rant also shared his displeasure with the choice considering the Super Bowl will be hosted in his hometown.

Several fans and music personalities were also critical of Weezy’s exclusion such as rappers Lil Boosie and Cam’ron chided the absence of Louisiana legends.
