The KSAMC today, unanimously passed a resolution to confer the ‘Key of the City of Kingston’ posthumously to outstanding Jamaican footballer Luton Shelton.

Up until the time of his death, Luton (#LS 21) Shelton still held the National goal scoring record of 35 goals in 75 appearances and is still the only men’s football player to score four (4) goals in his International debut for Jamaica.

The resolution was moved by Councillor Audrey Smith- Facey, JP (Payne Lands Division) and seconded by Councillor Donovan Samuels, JP (Tivoli Gardens Division)
