The much fantasised LeBron James, Steph Curry link-up in the NBA, could be turning into a reality following reports that the Golden State Warriors are considering picking up the Lakers’ small forward for the coming season.

It’s understood that James, along with former Lakers teammate Anthony Davis are among the priority targets for the Warriors, who could be on the verge of a championship-challenging super team.

The news comes days following reports that James,41, has yet to receive a formal offer for a contract extension with the Lakers.

The four-time was heavily rumoured to have played his final game with the Lakers following their Conference semifinal elimination by the Spurs.

The potential dominance of a James/Curry link-up had fantasied prospect by Sports fans over the years, with their rivalry dominating much of the Western Conference over the past 10 years from his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It’s understood that the Warriors’ move was on the table following the end of his second act in Cleveland before moving to the Lakers over talks about independent legacy over super team reliance.

Neither has yet to confirm the move.
