The unrelenting global dancehall dominance of music juggernaut Sean Paul was again underlined by reports indicating he ended the year as the top-streamed dancehall act on the platform, with a staggering 1.6 billion streams.

It’s understood that the latest figures, which were confirmed following the highly anticipated 2025 Spotify Wrapped collation, showed Dutty Paul dominating streams from dancehall and reggae acts across 184 countries on Platform this year alone.

The feat comes months following reports that the Grammy-winning artiste broke the 15-billion streams on the platforms, unscoring his giant status

Among his trove hits, Sean Paul also has all of three songs that have exceeded the 10-digit mark individually, including:

2005 classic “Temperature” – 1.23 billion streams, his 2016 pop smash collab “No Lie” featuring singer Dua Lipa pulling 1.57 billion streams and his feature on Clean Bandit and Anne-Marie Pop/Rock anthem “Rockabye” which has 1.803 billion, the band’s third-highest streamed release ever to date.

The again rubber stamps Dutty Paul’s unrelenting cross genre global appeal of existing and newer generations of music lovers.
