Vybz Kartel marked his return to freedom by resuming his reign as “King of the Dancehall” as his newly released “First Week Out” project, became the number 1 most listened to album on the Reggae Chart on Apple Music.

The surprise 12-track project was released hours following his official release from a 13-year incarceration on Wednesday.

The project is also jostling for the top spot on iTunes as the second most downloaded album in the genre behind Bob Marley’s “Legend- Best of Bob Marley.”

“First Week Out” is the second official project this year by the ‘Worl Boss’ following his May drop “Party With Me” which has also returned among the top ten Reggae album charts at number four.
