Reggae sensation YG Marley has more to give thanks for as his break-out single “Praise Jah in the Moonlight” has become the second most popular song on TikTok’s Billboard chart.

The chart shows the reggae song moving up 12 spots from its 14th position last week.

The ranking is the highest placing on a Billboard chart thus far for Marley, who previously peaked at number 34 on the Hot 100 Songs chart.

The rise adds to an incredible week for the singer, who had one of the most memorable debut sets at Coachella festival last week.

“Praise Jah in the Moonlight,” which samples the 1978 release “Crisis” by Grandfather Bob Marley, has been a runaway hit among social media and a favourite among celebrities since its release late last year. There is much talk that the song could be in the running for Song of the Year for the 2025 Grammys.
