Reggae sensation YG Marley and Afrobeats giant Davido link up for an upcoming drop, “Awuke, ” set for release on October 31.
Marley shared the news of the feature via a shared post with Davido on his page.
The feature is the most recent connection between the Reggae star and his Afrobeats counterpart after Burna teased a remix of his Billboard smash “Praise Jah in the Moonlight” during his Glastonbury Festival fest performance in July.
YG Marley has remained among the most in-demand artistes of the year following his rise to global prominence on the heels of his smash.
The Bob Marley-sampled “Praise Jah in the Moonlight” became the first Reggae song to break into the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in over seven years.
YG has also earned several certifications, including gold status in the US for sales of 500,000 units, in addition to earning a billion streams on Spotify.
