Jamaica shines bright as Reggae Girlz captain Khadija ‘bunny’ Shaw, goalkeeper Rebecca Spencer, and forward Jodi Brown are among the statistical leaders at the just concluded FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Spencer, who was named player of the match in the nil-all group stage draw with Brazil, finished in the top 5 in saves with 17, having conceded just once in just 4 games. This saw her going over 321 minutes before Colombia’s Catalina Usme scored in the 51st minute of the last 16 encounter in Melbourne.

The 32-year-old was also third in saves per 90 minutes with 3.9.

The top spot in that category is held by Daniela Solera of Costa Rica with 6.6 saves per 90 minutes

Solera is also the leader in saves made with 22, followed by Zechira Mushovich of Sweden with 21 with Olivia Mcdaniel of the Philippines and Mackenzie Arnold of Australia – both tied on 18.

In the meantime, Shaw despite not finding the target was ranked 4th in most successful dribbles per 90 minutes with 1.6 – the same as Jule Brand of Germany who was adjudged third having played one less game.

Brown was 10th with 1.3 successful dribbles per 90 minutes.

The World Cup was held in Australia and New Zealand.
