Dancehall star Squash has added another top-trending single under his belt after his latest release, “Get Up“, takes over the number-one spot on YouTube.
The single, which has been a viral drop since its tease, eventually forced its way to the summit, becoming the first track to break the Palmer monopoly of Vybz Kartel and his son Likkle Addie, who collectively occupied the top spot for 5 weeks.
“Get Up“, which has raked up over 1.5 million streams, is the third number-one trending single this year for the “6 Boss”, with his summer smash “Big Breeze” and its follow-up “Shub Out” also spending time on the perch of YouTube’s top trending chart.
Buzz over new music from the Montego Bay native was increased further after he teased an upcoming collaboration with fellow dancehall giant Masicka on Thursday.
