Seven-time Formula One World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton, has reportedly given almost seven per cent of his earnings to charity over the last 12 months to be the fifth most charitable person in England.
According to the givers List, Hamilton gave over £20 million to charitable cause last year.
The List which is a feature in the UK publication the Sunday Times, highlighted Hamilton’s philanthropic efforts and has ranked him fifth in the country for most charitable endeavors.
The feature asserts that Hamilton’s donation amounts to roughly 6.7 per cent of his over £300 million net worth as at 2021.

Reports assert that a vast majority of Hamilton’s donations have gone towards to his Mission 44 establishment which aims to assist marginalized individuals in acquiring potential open doors in schooling and business.
Hamilton, who finished just off the podium in Sunday’s race at the Baku Grand Prix crossing the line in fourth will be trying to recover from a painful race weekend to be fit for his next assignment at the Canadian Grand Prix this Sunday.
