Shenseea now Spotify’s fourth most streamed Reggae Artiste

Jamaica’s musical ‘Alpha’ Shenseea ,continues to expand her dominion on the international stage, after becoming the fourth most streamed Reggae artiste in the world  on Spotify.

It’s understood that Shenyeng has generated upwards of 8.7 million monthly listeners on the platform to rise among the esteemed company of Shaggy with 14.4 million streams, Bob Marley, 16.1 million, and ‘Dutty Paul’ himself; Sean Paul who leads the way with 24.9 million monthly listeners.

The ‘Blessed’ singer was naturally elated about the stats on her music:

“Let me tell you I decided to do good with my life, but for it to come this quickly I just have to thank God ” she said during a red-carpet interview with the Shade Room recently.

The ‘Run’ singer has been steadily building her international rapport among fans and industry players alike. Not only has the singer racked up consecutive 10-figure streaming numbers in her solo effort, but has also attracted several major collaborations over the past year.

Collabs including Grammy-nominated ‘Ok Ok pt 2’ with Kanye West along with her Megan thee Stallion featured ‘Lick’ and ‘R U that’ with 21 Savage.

The latter earned her a Video Music Awards (VMA) nomination.

Her latest international feature “Obsessed” with Charlie Puth and Calvin Harris, was released in August and is already climbing up the British charts.

The feature adds to the stream of a successful venture for the Jamaican after being the face Finish Line’s Adidas athleisure wear.  

She will be touring her attention to Rolling loud Toronto where she is slated to perform on Friday September 9.
