Dancehall heavyweight Spice has expressed anger over the recent release of the ‘Solid Ground’ single featuring Pastor Stephen Blake, saying she’s “TIAD” of being used for clout.

The ‘So Mi Like It’ singer was far from pleased as she lambasted the ‘Dancehall Pastor’ for allegedly dropping the track without her consent.

In an Instagram story Monday night, Spice vented her disdain towards the song and chalked it up to clout chasing.

“Stephen you claim to be a man of God. I asked you privately not to release this unfinished Demo that we started working on from 2020 and you still continue to clout chase because of your own church sister,” Spice said.

She went further in expressing her disgust by demanding him to remove her voice from the song before rebuking him as a sign of publicly severing ties with her collaborator.

“I don’t know about you but One thing I don’t do is play with God ‼️ TAKE OUT MI VOICE OUT A YUH SONG A GWAN YUH WAYS INNA JESUS NAME,” she added.

In a later post the “Go Down Deh” singer later shared that the whole scenario has become a little overwhelming for her and she will be taking a sabbatical from social media to preserve her mental space.

“Besties I’m taking a break from social media, I’m not as strong as I use to be, Infact I’m weak and tired of being a target,” she explained. “Please pray for me while I pray for myself. I love you all, until the death of me,” Spice concluded.

However, despite the latest dispute, history has shown that with music, and certainly with God, anything is possible such as reconciliation or possibly a remix.

‘Solid Ground’ was released last Friday to predominantly good reviews, with many praising the message and the collaboration between the two as a divine combination that is needed.
