International Dancehall superstar Sean Paul continues to solidify his status among the world’s music elites after being ranked inside of Billboard’s Top R&B/HipHop artists of the 21st Century.

“Dutty Paul”, the only Jamaican act on the list, was ranked at number 87 out of the top 100 noted musicians across the genres, ranking above the likes of rap stars The Game( #90), Young Thug (#89) Black Eyed Peas (# 99), R&B star Tyrese (96) and friend and Rap Icon Busta Rhymes who came in at 94 among his peers.

It’s the latest top 100 all-time list for the “Get Busy” hit maker, who earlier this year was given an almost identical rating after being voted number 88 on Billboard’s overall “Top 100 Artists of the 21st Century”.

The Jamaican who has delivered several notable Billboard classics, including memorable chart toppers over the past 20 years, remains one of the most globally recognised and in-demand artists, not only from Dancehall but world music in general. His ever-expanding cross-genre fan base is a fervent testament to the global brand appeal, underscoring his relevance and fueling continuous discovery among music lovers.

In addition to delivering the dancehall “fiyah” as a major ticket act at major festivals and concerts all over the world, the Grammy-winner is among the most sought-after collaborators for some of the top names and upcoming global prospects. Among his features, super hit features include British pop classics “Rock-a-bye” with Pop group Clean Bandit “, No Lie” ft the then-rising pop star Dua Lipa, both of which have crossed 1 Billion streams, and most recently “Push 2 Start” remix with Ampaiano sensation Tyla.
