Producer “Skatta” Burrell has moved to explain reasons for the restriction on recordings by the media during singer Baby Face’s recent performance at Reggae Sumfest.

Members of the press were asked to cease recording and ushered from the front of the stage, with access to the area limited to media personnel approved by the singer’s management ahead of his stage entrance on Saturday’s closing night.

Skatta who’s part of the Reggae Sumfest team took to social media to address the reasons behind the specific request by the singer to quash any misunderstanding by the public around the artiste.

Among several key points highlighted around the conditions of Baby Face’s performance included potential copyright issues.

The explanation did however attract mixed views about the terms of performance by online users.

Burrell has been on damage control all week having also moved to clear up misinformation around rumours of Beres Hammond among others being forced to vacate from backstage to allow the passing of the American singer.
