Michael Lee Chin Jr gets the green light for SEED

Micro-credit company, SEED will be opening it’s doors to the public very soon.

SEED, which is focused on credit or rather providing digitally-based inclusive financial services that are profitable and accessible to everyone and, has been approved a micro credit licence by the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ).

The licence has been activated for the micro credit market having been incorporated last year, May 26, 2022.

The institution which is led by Michael Lee-Chin Jr., is the latest micro-credit institution to be granted operating license by the BoJ under the new Microcredit Act.

With countries around the world including Jamaica finding sustainable ways to keep the economic wheels turning, SEED is set to assist with easing the burden on small sized enterprises.

In a statement sent to the media, Michael Lee Chin Jr said; “this is the culmination of many people’s efforts, and I want to thank the Bank of Jamaica for working with us to bring this dream to fruition.”

As such, SEED is approved to provide microcredit services such as the granting of loans and grants for small and medium sized businesses.

Lee Chin Jr added, “This is only the first step, in a vision that Seed has to offer credit to those in need. We are excited to plant Seeds in hardworking people and communities, and in turn, help Jamaica be the land we know it is destined to be.
