Dancehall’s top striker Masicka premiered the highly anticipated video for his most recent hit ‘Pieces’.

The video which premiered at mid-day Jamaica time, on Tuesday, comes five days following the official release of the audio track on his which was also on his Vevo channel.

Pieces which features fellow dancehall star Jahshii is a joint release under Masicka’s partnership with Def Jam records which comes ahead of his upcoming album.

While not officially confirming the title or drop date for the project, the album seems likely to be his first release under Def Jam records, by all accounts the single appears to be the first from the album.

The audio has already been declared a hit by listeners racking up over 448,000 streams in its first four days to be the sixth most streamed song on the island.  

The video also comes a day after the lyrics version was released on Monday which itself has already amassed more than 79,000 stream after its first 23 hours.
