Dancehall “Top Striker” Masicka has shown approval of a reference to him by Koffee in her “comeback” single-“Koffee”.

The recently released single and accompanying music video, which premiered on Tuesday, saw Koffee endearingly name-drop the Gennasyde boss, praising him as the only younger acts to command international music dominance.

Masicka reshared the clip with the reference line originally posted to his fan page via his IG stories.

Captioning the post with the phrase “Nobody” as a signal of his approval.

In addition to the name drop, Masicka was also given a highlight at the beginning of the video with a subtle easter egg of his name digitally shown on the radio, reinforcing that sicka is the only artiste that has her ears.

The highly anticipated single, which was Koffee’s first official solo release in over two years since dropping her album “Gifted” in November 2022, has already amassed upwards of 163,000 streams on YouTube in its first 24 hours.
