The Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF, is asking a man who has claimed responsibility for a bomb threat on Sunday morning to which the man released a video clearing the air, is asked to turn himself into the police.
He says he is a recording artiste who goes by the stage name Jhuss Khool.
This is as the police are seeking to question him about his alleged involvement and explanation for such a prank.
In a minute-long video posted on TikTok, the man warns that a bomb would go off inside the Rubis gas station in Ocean Village Shopping Centre in Ocho Rios, St. Ann if his demand of 20 million dollars was not met by 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Law enforcement personnel from the JCF, the Jamaica Defence Force, and others responded and restored calm and peace in the area after discovering it was a prank.
The police were alerted by the gas station owner, who is currently overseas, but learned of the matter after seeing the over-one-minute-long video.
The police in St. Ann are still investigating the matter.
