Lila Ike and Legendary Reggae artiste Ini Kamoze teamed up for the release of their single titled “I Want You.“

The track, which had been teased early this week, premiered on Friday.

In making the song, Kamoze said he wanted to make a “Timeless” record with cross-generational appeal and felt Lila added the right balance.

Lila Ike also noted the magnitude of the collaboration as she expressed her honour in being part of the project.

Ini Kamoze, a musical juggernaut of the 1990s is one of Jamaica’s most commercially successful acts with his iconic single “Here Come The Hotstepper” earning Platinum certifications in the US and UK.
