It was a toast to Jamaican creativity and artistic expression as Kingston Creative, in collaboration with Redstripe Flavours, highlighted Artisans and Small Business Owners at the Artwalk Festival dubbed “The Last Fete of the Season.”

The recently hosted event by Kingston Creative was a melting pot of artistic and cultural creativity and innovation, with over 40 artisans displaying their handcrafted pieces.

Gwyneth Moore, owner of GC Crafts, specialises in handmade jewellery crafted from natural gemstones and Czech glass beads. Each piece of jewellery is designed with unique healing properties.
Anika’s Creative Collections, where every piece is created with tools engraved with inspirational words. Anika has an array of items from personalised cups and colourful frames inspired by scrabble pieces to beaded jewellery and key rings.

The day’s entertainment included soulful performances by Viridian the Creative and Rica G and an open mic session. Performances from the Denham Town Dance Academy, Panoridim Steel Orchestra, and Alpha Community Band also ensured that the day’s celebrations were not short of entertainment.

The Panoridim Steel orchestra performance stole the spotlight at the Kingston Creative Art Walk, treating the audience to a dynamic mix of dancehall and reggae beats that had everyone grooving along.
Alpha Community Band brought an outstanding performance to Kingston Creative’s carnival-themed event, which added excitement and energy to the festivities.

Red Stripe Flavours added an extra flair to the event with their sponsored paint and sip sessions, complemented by refreshing drinks.

Musical jugglings from DJ Franco and Brush 1 brought the carnival lyme to an end with a sizzling set of dancehall and soca hits.

The streets of Downtown Kingston’s streets came alive with active participation, as both young and old danced during DJ Franco and Brush 1’s high-energy performance at the ‘Last Fete of the Season.’
