It continues to be a stellar year for Dancehall superstar Skillbeng after his collaboration with rapper Gunna on Tyla’s global hit “Jump” went silver in the UK for sales of 200,000 units.

The British Phonographic Institute (BPI) officially verified the track’s status on Friday.

It’s the second certification in the UK for Skillibeng, who previously earned silver certification for his Billboard charting hit “Crocodile Teeth”

“Jump”, which formed part of Tyla’s self-titled debut album released in March has been a super fan favourite from the project, where it grew to a global viral sensation predominantly on “Skilli”‘s ultra-catchy “Original Gyal You anuh replica” song intro.

The single appeared on several charts, including peaking atop the US Afiobeats charts, where it remains inside the top ten.

“Jump” also earned Skillibeng a finalist spot in the Billboard on Music Award for “Best Afrobeats Song”.

Friday’s certification comes two days after his second consecutive “Best Caribbean Act” nomination at the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) awards, reaffirming Skiilbeng’s growing musical impact within the UK market.
