Trading for the US dollar on Friday, October 8, ended at J$148.94, following an increase of $0.09, the Bank of Jamaica has indicated. 

The Canadian dollar, in the meantime, ended trading at $121.75 up from $119.54 while the British pound sterling ended trading at $205.12 down from $205.80.

The Euro went up by $0.74, ending trading at $176.60.
