A member of the JCF is to be questioned this week by INDECOM after he allegedly injured his wife and son in a shooting incident on Keats Avenue in Duhaney Park yesterday.

SLEEK has learnt that both mother and child are being treated at hospital for their injuries.

Head of the police communication unit, Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay confirmed that an investigation is ongoing.

Reports are that the incident evolved from a verbal dispute to a physical altercation.

A neighbour shared that the dispute began after the father allegedly spoke to the son about helping with the bills in the household.

This is the second shooting incident involving a father and son in recent weeks.

Last Monday, businessman Ruel Knight was shot and killed by his father Delton Knight, his business partner, who is also a licensed firearm holder.

Both men were at their establishment at Knights Wholesale in Papine when disaster struck.

The senior Knight has since been charged with murder.
