FBI to undertake investigations into assassination attempt in Western Jamaica

The Federal Bureau of Investigation along with the Jamaica Constabulary Force has launched a multi-agency operation investigation into an assassination attempt that took place in western Jamaica.

This follows after an assassination attempt was thwarted to murder three women in Western Jamaica.

The police, acting on intelligence, conducted multiple raids yesterday where several people including a District Constable were taken into custody.

Among the items seized were pieces of police uniform, security equipment, several weapons, and multiple rounds of ammunition.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey, has outlined that subsequent investigations pointed out that the individuals were linked to carrying out a contract murder of three women in the parish but were stopped in their tracks.
