A 36-year-old Thai man who is said to have a grade 9 level education reportedly was arrested for practising without a medical licence after performing penis enlargement procedures for 20 years.

According to reports, the man, identified as Kittikorn Songsri, a resident of Samut Sakhon, a city in central Thailand, was arrested last week following a sting operation at a townhouse where he practised various procedures for two decades.

Following his arrest, Songsri confessed to posing as a licensed doctor and advertised his services via social media. It is also believed that he has seen at least three patients per month.

It’s further reported that he admitted to authorities that he was self-taught and began performing the medical procedure at age 14. His independent operation was uncovered after a disgruntled client reported and made public a serious silicone infection following his procedure.

The rates for this special service ranged between 5,000 baht ($150)and 20,000 baht ($600) per procedure. In addition to charges of practising without a licence, he also faces legal action from the client who suffered an infection from a botched operation.
