Legendary Dancehall producer Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor is set to be honoured at the upcoming Caribbean Music Awards(CMA) as the 2024 recipient of the “Producer Award” at the event set for August 29.
The honour which was announced on Saturday recognises McGregor’s contribution to the music industry and how he helped “shape the sound of Reggae and Dancehall for over two decades.”


Several fans rushed to expressed their approval of the recognition.


“Di Genius” shared his gratitude for the Award in the comments.

The CMA honour adds to another stellar year for the “Bigship” producer following several hit productions in 2024 including Shenseea and Masicka’s “Hit & Run,” Mavado’s Bubble & Brace and Country/Pop smash-“Whiskey Blues” by Country music star Tanner Adell.
The latter was also featured in the Action/Drama film “Twisters.”
