The Jamaican leg of the Dexta Daps Trilogy tour kicked off Friday night which saw him transform the entire Ranny Williams entertainment center into a musical theater with heart-stopping vocals and special guests. While it is customary for him to strip for his female fans, he opted to omit that this time around. Nonetheless, the ladies soaked up every bit of his energy.

He did the same at Pearly Beach in St. Ann on Saturday, turning it into More than a beach party, bringing love and intimacy in December.

Before the performance, patrons had the opportunity to take photos at specially designed Dexta Daps photobooths before taking their spots in the audience to see the man of the hour.

Patrons were treated to an array of selectors from the youngest Fyahman to the more experienced Boom Boom, which set the tone for the night and catered to all as they played dancehall, reggae alternative Pop, and even soca.

A smoke-filled atmosphere set the mood and out of nowhere came the vocals of Dexta Daps. He entered the stage decked in a gold suit.

While performing several of his hits, he explained the reason for a tour, noting that it is to connect with his fans locally as he has not been in Jamaica for a while, and thought it was time.

The “Bring It to the Owner” singer needed not to do anything as his fans sang word for word, every one of his songs – this had Dexta so shocked that he said “Ah mi real fan dem deh yah man – love you all.”

The artiste also included several fresh talents from his hometown, Seaview Gardens and he brought out established acts in Kingston such as Ritikal and D’Yani.

He was also given support from Bounty Killer and Baby Cham in Kingston who electrified the audience with several hits.

The first and second legs of the Trilogy Tour certainly set the pace for greatness at the final stop at Wavs Beach in Negril, Westmoreland.
