The U-20 Reggae Boyz are on the verge of qualifying for the 2027 World Cup as they face Canada in the CONCACAF Championship quarterfinals game at Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla, Mexico, on Wednesday.

The fixture, a rematch of their final group game showdown which ended in dramatic a 2-2 draw, will this time will be a winner take all, including the ultimate prize of World Cup qualification.

A win for Jamaica, who’ve been unbeaten throughout the group stage, will see them return to the U-20 tournament for the first time since 2001, which was coincidentally against Canada.

A positive result today, will see Jamaica qualify its second team for youth World Cups this year, following the success of the U-17’s who secured their spot also at the expense of Canada after a 3-1 in the Championship game.

Kick off time for U-20 fixture is set for 5:30pm Jamaica time.
