R&B legend Freddie Jackson left patrons in ‘awe’ and clamouring for more at ‘Love in the Gardens’ in Hope Gardens, Kingston, on Sunday (February 11).

His silky vocals gushed over the atmosphere and placed lovers in a reflective mood as he kick-started his performance with the 2007 collaboration he did with artiste Melba Moore titled “A Little Bit More.”

The 67-year-old Jackson, then got more intimate with the ladies as he pulled deep from his catalog for hits such as ‘You Are My Lady’ – ‘Love Is Just A Touch Away’ – and ‘Have You Ever Loved Somebody’. However, it was his 1996 hit ‘Rock Me Tonight’ that had couples, and single ladies up on their feet dancing non-stop.
