Actor Jamie Foxx is reportedly being sued by a woman who claims he sexually assaulted her in 2015 on a rooftop bar.
The suit was filed in the New York Supreme Court late Wednesday and reportedly alleges Foxx fondled the woman and further violated her after he stuck his hand down her pants.
The suit was filed just two days before the expiration date for the New York Survivors Act, which gives adult sexual assault survivors one year to sue regardless of when the statute of limitations expired.
According to reports, the unnamed woman detailed that she and a friend were sitting at a table away from Foxx, when they walked over to ask for a picture with the actor, who had been having drinks with a co-founder and the owner of the establishment.
It noted that while they were taking pictures, reportedly, an “intoxicated” Foxx “roughly” grabbed the woman’s phone and continued to take more pictures while also making suggestive comments like “Wow, you have that supermodel body.”
Reportedly, Foxx, then, grabbed her arm to pull her to the back of the rooftop, where he slid his hand under her shirt and began rubbing her breasts.
The woman, according to the report, noted in the court filing that she tried to move away, but claimed Foxx slid his hands into her pants and put his fingers on and in her privates (vagina and anus).
She reportedly claimed that a security guard saw what was going on but did nothing, however, when her friend walked over, Foxx stopped touching her and walked over to the security guard.
With this, she also named the establishment in her lawsuit.
The company and Foxx are yet to comment on the allegations.
