Travis Scott addresses Astroworld tragedy for the first time

Rapper Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival in 2021 ended in tragedy after 10 people died and hundreds were injured after the crowd surged toward the stage during his performance.

For the first time since that night, Scott has broken his silence on the matter.

He broke his silence on the tragic incidents saying he was “overly devastated” by the loss of life.

Scott told GQ magazine, “Those fans were like my family. You know, I love my fans to the utmost.”

He continued: “It has its moments where it gets rough and…yeah. You just feel for those people and their families.”

The Festival took place on November 5, 2021, in Houston, Texas, and while he was performing incidents of deaths and injuries happened.
