Reggae Girlz Captain Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw continues to enjoy a sensational 2023 after being named North West Football Awards (NWFA) Women’s Footballer Of The Year during their ceremony on Tuesday.
The win, which was shared via the NWFA website, saw Shaw top five other standout players of the season, who were also shortlisted for the award.

The award comes shortly after her recent trip to the Ballon d’Or ceremony in France, where she was voted the 24th best female player in the world.

The Jamaican showed scintillating form for Manchester City last season, including netting 26 times in 22 games to break the club’s single-season scoring record.
The reigning CONCACAF Women’s Player of the Year also captained Jamaica to a historic round of 16 appearances at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in New Zealand and Australia in July.
The striker has already kicked this season where she ended the last after netting three goals in five games with two assists for the ‘Lady Cityzens.’
