Dancehall star Valliant has seemingly found the right combination for another top trending tune as his single “Beer & Salt” has raced into the number one spot on YouTube.

‘Beer and Salt,’ which premiered on Friday, has amassed upwards of 730,000 streams since its drop, as fans continue to resonate with the personal release.

The video references his recent performance at Miami Carnival, where he seemingly experienced technical difficulty during his set, where he appeared to receive a lukewarm reception.

The lyrics, which take aim at his critics, among other references, again see Valiant turn a less than favourable situation into an opportunity to deliver another successful track.

The track’s success adds to a continued online dominance by the ‘Diplomats’ top man, who has already scored several number-one trending releases this year alone.

Valiant, of course, has never shied away from addressing criticism through music, and ‘Beer and Salt’ provides the latest installation by the “Dunce Cheque” hitmaker in expressing his views about his experiences.
