Over 300 high school students who participated in this year’s Tourism Enhancement Fund Summer Internship Programme will graduate with an Associate Degree in Hotel Management.
A record-breaking 14 thousand registration were received for the TEF Summer Internship Programme held recently.

This report was given by Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett who was addressing a press briefing on Thursday.
A major success of the programme is that over 11,000 students were placed in jobs this summer via 136 employers nationwide.
Due to the success of the summer internship programme with its Associate Degree offering, Minister Bartlett says it is to be modelled by the World Tourism Organization WTO.
