Dancehall singer Denyque today, Friday (August 4) released her first song for 2023 titled “Between Me and You”, a love song – fused with poetry, fantasy, and reality.

Sleek Media caught up with the ‘Summer Love’ singer and she explained how the song came about – from the moment she received the instrumental to laying the lyrics.

The sultry-raunchy dancehall singer tells her lover “No I’m not just anybody…” while suggesting that everyone does not need to know everything about the relationship – as some things are best kept between each other.

She explains to SLEEK that it’s not a secret relationship but it’s a private relationship most people should strive for – resulting in trust.

This is the first production under Denyque’s label – Denym Ent & Levels to Life Productions.

The song “Between Me and You” is available on all digital platforms and will be a part of her EP set to drop in 2024.
