It’s a Gaza reunion between Vybz Kartel and Popcaan as the two collaborated for the release of their new track “Dull Colour” which officially premiered on Friday.

The single which was shared via Kartel’s official YouTube channel, has already racked up more than 3000 streams in its first 13 minutes of release.

The track is the first collaboration between the “di teacha” and his former ‘prefect’ since 2012 after the Kartel-led “Portmore Empire” was disbanded following his incarceration.

Although Popcaan has gone on to establish his own brand- Unruly Ent. to become an internationally recognized entity, he has maintained strong support and respect for his musical mentor Kartel over the years.

The two have arguably one of the biggest dancehall songs of all time with their 2011 release –‘Clarks’.

The track which is an ode to the iconic English shoe brand, became an instant global hit and quickly declared an anthem by many, as the song’s success also influenced a sharp increase in the demand for the shoe locally.
