The “Sauceboss” Kemar Highcon has teamed up with the ‘Uptopboss” Teejay for the release of his latest single, “Grand Theft Auto”.

While many would have been anxiously expecting an Instagram live session by the artiste to give an update on his “run in” with law enforcement in the US, fans were instead treated to a new single and video release.

The video for the track which was released on Friday morning, seemingly draws inspiration from his recent legal troubles, where he was reportedly accused of grand theft auto, which is defined as taking a vehicle without the owner’s permission and with the intent to deprive the owner of the vehicle permanently.

According to reports he was taken into custody and charged with grand theft auto in the third degree by Margate Police Department in May, before being released days later on a $500 bond.

Among the reported details of the incident include, the dancehall star being pulled over by officers while driving the vehicle in question- a Red BMW. Which was seemingly reenacted in the music video

Kemar who has been relatively mum since the incident, generated much interest following a series of posts seemingly connected to his legal trouble.

‘Mr Saucy’, however, capitalized on the interest around his freedom by flipping the situation into a summer drop.

Despite touching on what seems to also be a domestic situation, the Rvssian-produced track does stay in line with Highcon’s trademark flamboyance and high-energy image as it maintains a vibey, danceable groove about being in a better situation.
